Privacy Policy - the basics

It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy. 

 

Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location. 

What to include in the Privacy Policy

Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.

West elm Real estate DBA ProFast Construction and Property Management respects your privacy. By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to the following terms regarding how we handle your data:

  • Data collection: we will collect your name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates. This information will be collected over the phone or in person.

  • Opt-out: You can opt out of the SMS list at anytime by texting, emailing, or replying STOP to (ken@getprofast.com or (201-331-9009). After unsubscribing, you will receive a final SMS to confirm you have unsubscribed and we will remove your number from our list within 24 hours.

 

  • You can send HELP for additional assistance, and you will receive a text including our phone number, email and website. We are here to help you.

  • Non-sharing clause: We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. West elm Real estate DBA ProFast Construction and Property Management will not sell, rent, or share the collected mobile numbers
